Violin music teacher (beginner to higher levels!)

I am an IB graduate from ACS (Independent), who is about to enter NUS Law this year. I have been in the Music Elective Programme from secondary school to JC.

I have achieved a distinction in the ATCL Recital Violin Diploma in 2014, after attaining a merit in the ABRSM Grade 8 in 2011. I have also passed the ABRSM Grade 6 Theory examination in 2012.

Having gone through the ABRSM examinations, I am confident in leading your child to attain the grades they wish to achieve, should they want to pursue the exams.

Moreover, in ACS(I), as the Assistant Section Leader of Violin 1 from 2014-2015, I led the Philharmonic Orchestra for numerous concerts, including internal school celebrations and external functions, like our Christmas Carolling at TANGS (2014).

I have also participated in the OMM-SOTA Orchestra Camp in 2015, where we played large scale orchestral works, culminating in a concert at the NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

These experiences have enriched my appreciation and interpretation of music, and will enable me to guide your child in learning how to shape their own unique expression of it.

Music has been an enriching part of my life and has given me an outlet to express myself through the art form. I thoroughly enjoy the fluidity it entails, yet, it has also taught me discipline, perseverance, and camaraderie.

I am confident in teaching from a beginner level to higher levels, and I hope to be able to share the same amazing journey with you.

My available timings are flexible, on weekdays from 1pm, and weekends from 4pm. Rates will depend on the grade and location.

Beginners: $40 per half an hour lesson
Grade 1-3: $60 per hour lesson
Grade 4-6: $80 per hour lesson
Grade 7-8: $100 per hour lesson
