Full Description

Having encountered many who have expressed both interest in and hesitation towards picking up the piano, I understand that there are numerous challenges faced while learning the instrument. What I’d like to do isn’t to only help my students overcome these challenges, but also to let them grow as well-rounded musicians. It is one thing to be a good pianist, but an entirely different thing to be an informed performer who knows how to approach and interpret music with sensitivity.

Others: 2008 ABRSM High Scorers' Concert, 2014 SMTA Performers' Festival - Gold Award, performer at Esplanade on numerous occasions, experience with National Junior College Piano Ensemble

Expected Rates

Fees per lesson:

Practical Grades 1 & 2: $40 for 45 min
Practical Grades 3, 4 & 5: $60 for 60 min
Practical Grades 6, 7 & 8: $70 for 60 min
Theory Grades 1 to 5: $20 for 30 min (negotiable if part of practical lesson)

Students will need to pay for their books, scores and other relevant music materials on top of their fees per lesson. In the case of practical lessons, a music history option will be available during each lesson without any additional fee.

Available Timing

Mondays, Fridays, and mornings/afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays.
