Melissa graduated from the National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honors) in Sociology. Her thesis’s fieldwork, which involved observing students in schools has given her an all-rounded understanding of children’s behavioral patterns from different age groups. In 2004, she attained the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano Grade 8 and in 2016, her dipABRSM in instrumental teaching. In 2016, she graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor in Piano Performance. During her undergraduate years, she has been actively teaching private piano lessons and was the university’s concert choir accompanist. Melissa is constantly upgrading herself and has been attending Piano Conferences frequently. Her constant quest for knowledge coupled with her passion in teaching has widened her approaches towards teaching students with different abilities. As a dedicated and patient teacher, she believes in making her music classes enjoyable for children and maximizing their potentials to the fullest. -

Yolanda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Upper Class Honors, majoring in Classical Voice Performance at University of Wales, Prifysgol Cymru. She studied under renowned teachers Lim Shieh Yih, Nancy Yuen, Joyce Khoo and has worked with various musical coaches and conductors. She first made her operatic debut as Auretta in Mozart's opera, L'oca del Cairo, and has since played many other roles. Yolanda was also the prizewinner of the 5th Tan Ngiang Kaw/Tan Ngiang Ann Memorial Vocal Competition (2011). Showing a huge love for performing on stage, she has worked with orchestras such as the Nafa Symphony Orchestra and has performed in renowned theatres. She also has a trio of her own with her close friends; they have performed for several functions including corporate dinners, weddings etc. Yolanda has also achieved Grade 8 in both Theory and Piano. For the past 9 years, she specialises in teaching vocal techniques, piano and theory to various age groups from early childhood to adults and has conducted enrichment classes and workshops in primary and secondary schools.
