Have been teaching freelance on-and-off during the years of my studies in the UK; mainly beginner piano to kids, and contemporary worship piano to youths. I may not be a very experienced nor perfect teacher, but I love interacting with kids and making sure they are having fun learning the piano! I usually use the Piano Adventures book for kids. I am currently a freelance Music Educator teaching various primary schools (Keyboards, Vocals, Stomp, iPad Garageband), and also Music and Movement in preschools. I am also a Choir pianist in a primary school. -

I have successfully trained students as young as the age of 6 and to the highest music grade of 8. It is my passion to educate and instill aspirations to the future generation, I believe in making lessons fun and enjoyable for children to expand their mind and maximize their potential. My teaching method is to - 1) Assess and then focus on the student's weakness in the subject so that he or she can do well in less time with more understanding. 2) Assessment qns and exam papers will be used to evaluate the student's progress and give confidence to the student. 3) Proper explanation of schoolwork and questions that students encounter so as to build a solid foundation for their learning. 4) Lots of interaction during the session to make sure student understands and is able to use what i taught effectively. Furthermore, as each student is different in their abilities, I tailor the lessons to suit them so that they can learn, grow at their pace. -
